Day 5 – Don’t Write Anything You Wouldn’t Want Everyone to Read

In order to race cars, you need lots of money and lots of time. While a high-paying job in finance may get you the former and a beach bum lifestyle may get you the latter, it was only entrepreneurs that had both money and time.

  1. There is a different kind of creativity that happens in repressive societies I think. In the former Soviet Union, in China and Korea today, people are often creative in their dissent. It is sometimes buried in double meanings, etc. Just got around to reading this. Thanks for thinking of me and “writing” to Mom:)

    • It’s in repressive cultures that people have to, more seriously, keep up multiple identities as well. It’s true in different ways with social media.

      Between work, family and free time, what does it mean to be “one’s self”? I think, in time, “social media” will be really freeing for people.
