I don’t have much on my mind for today. Streaming this morning was fun. I said “Ws in chat!” And my two chatters got busy with the Ws. 😂

I also made a… miltownCasey108? video(?) It ended up being a history of how, and why, miltownkid was created, why miltownkid made Casey Abbott Payne and Casey Abbott Payne’s roll in… “reviving” miltownkid. I didn’t mention the 108 much in this video (and LinkedIn and Facebook won’t see any mention of 108! I’ve banned that perspective for those platforms in the Gemini chat making the edits).

I actually got a pretty deep piece of insight from my older brother. He caught me live streaming right before I was getting done and called me afterwards. We talked about our father, how we were treated differently (I got cool pops, he got not so cool pops), and how he was looking out for me and my brother growing up and how he got us (me) into video games. He had ALL of the systems (Jaguar, Turbo Graphic 16, even a Neo Geo! No one had a Neo Geo!) I was talking to him about the miltownkid stuff and he said “You just made miltownkid to protect yourself.” His insight didn’t just come from being my older brother (we didn’t grow up together as he had a different mother), we lived in the same house for a year or so shortly after I moved back to the US from Taiwan. So he had PRE-PRE-PRE miltownkid knowledge and knowledge about miltownkid when I was deep into miltownkid (and who knows how many videos he’s watched).

It made a lot of sense. miltownkid eventually became an exaggerated version of myself, but there was always another version kind of hiding in the shadows patiently waiting for his turn. That kid was the kid that wanted to become a monk or hermit in China. It was a version I kept hidden from most people for a long time. That version was somewhat undeveloped and it’s that version that decided to try to interact with “the mundane world” to try to do some good. miltownkid was a product of trying to do some “good”, but it was during a kind of wild wild west time in terms of social media.

Anyhow, this exaggerated version of myself protecting myself eventually became myself and the version that created miltownkid was lost. I wanted to have a different life (with life with the love of my life) and… miltownkid was not a match. miltownkid wasn’t a match for a lot of things “pre-miltiwnkid Casey” wanted to do so miltownkid made Casey Abbott Payne but there was this pact that once Casey Abbott Payne fully… Like FULLY COMPLETELY AND TRULY stabilized his life (health, money, relationship, etc.) miltownkid could ride again! But ride in a true persona capacity. What I wanted miltownkid to be originally but… Things just got murky with time. When miltownkid comes back, Casey Abbott Payne will be able to support what he wants to do. miltownkid is an ARTIST… he… I! ME! wants to make art! Skits, comedy, music, music videos, wear dope shit, make a dope brand (well… the MilTownKlan is already pretty dope), and… All of the fun…

Anyhow… Saving it for later. It’s funny because I realized yesterday that Casey Abbott Payne is protecting miltownkid now. Letting him rest, recharge, stabilize…

I ended up playing games with my younger brother this morning and realized that miltownkid came up on the internet at the perfect time. He was able to stay pure because there wasn’t really a way to monitoze then. It was pure joy. Purely for the art. If miltownkid came on the scene just a little later he would have gotten paid good and I would have completely become miltownkid and dropped all of the other stuff (or the other stuff would have played a much smaller roll). The path I’ve walked has brought me to a place of balance. 🏄🏾‍♂️☯️🧘🏾‍♂️ I’m getting more and more balanced and I’ll be able to share this balance with others.

That’s a natural spot to end, but I ran into an article with some stuff Jensen Huang was saying about programming with AI (something I’ve been saying a lot recently, and always knew was coming):

I’ve been EXTREMELY precise with language for a long time. I also noticed LONG ago that “human” programming is happening everywhere all the time. Everyone has been DEEPLY programmed already. You live in a CULT(ure). The rule is basically if YOU aren’t programming YOU someone or something else is.

It’s where “my” quote (I wasn’t the first to think it, but I came up with it on my own) “All art is martial,” comes from. The second half might be unique though “and everything is art.”

Take a look around EVERYTHING is art (someone designed it). It’s a little more high level and abstract, but the same is true in nature.

What I’m saying with “All art is martial and everything is art,” is that you’re are CONSTANTLY under attack! Consciously, subconsciously… You’re watching YouTube, reading books, playing games, in a culture (which is also art, it’s been designed by humans). You’re CONSTANTLY being programmed and, ideally, (you should be) deprogramming yourself (and others!) and then reprogramming yourself (and others) with doper shit!
