Day 3: Governing Self and Surrounding

I came home and felt like drawing circles. I liked that circle in the middle so I took a picture. Then I Googled “circle drawing calligraphy” and ran into the Wikipedia entry below.

In Zen, ensō (円相 , “circle”) is a circle that is hand-drawn in one or two uninhibited brushstrokes to express a moment when the mind is free to let the body create. – Wikipedia

Apprenticeships are also anastoundingly good value right now.

Many people think free work or unpaid internships are exploitative, but find the idea of someone taking out a quarter million in debt to get a college degree and an MBA a smart investment.

That may be a legacy of the knowledge economy that we haven’t adapted to yet.

    • I’m working on it now! A small group has formed to figure out how to best utilize the page. I vented a little bit behind the scenes, but it’s important for people to know what my motivations were and are.

      There’s a meeting happening with another organization Sunday. We’ll see what happens from there!
