Cycle 16 Dream+Flow: Just Flow

Dream+Flow

This Cycle’s Dream is to take more steps toward mastery over My Flow. Being totally focused on refining My Flow, with nothing else added, is part of a larger Dream. The larger Dream is to have 9 consecutive cycles of being “normal”. This is a big goal for me because my current record, in the 19 cycles I’ve been tracking, is 2 cycles in a row (these stats are available in My 108s).

Flow

The Flow for this cycle is, like I said in the Dream, refining and mastering My Flow.

Mastering My System

I want to say “This is the beginning of mastering my system!”, but it’s not. Creating this system has been decades in the making. First loosely in a collection of journals, then with the name Pwning Life and yearly reflections, then with the name Flow to Your Dream, and finally with the creation of the 108-day cycles. There’s also been a constantly evolving philosophy that’s gone hand-in-hand with all of this.

As I said way back in Cycle 10, I want to refine and master this system and philosophy before I start spreading it (section of the video where I say this ). This may not be the beginning of my mastering the system, but it’s definitely the beginning of having a series of Cycles with one building off of the next focused on mastery.

A Word on miltownkid and Casey Abbott Payne

Casey Abbott Payne and miltownkid ZEE

In my last post, I mentioned how Casey Abbott Payne eventually absorbed miltownkid and created #DIGITALPANTHERTAICHI. Before all of that, starting in 2015, Casey Abbott Payne was a Chan (Chinese Zen) Buddhist who prayed to Guanyin and lived a simple (close to monk’s) life while building Black Horse Tai Chi. miltownkid (ZEE) had a much longer and richer history. In the beginning (1999), miltownkid and Casey were the same person. Then miltownkid became a character and experiment for Casey. Then Casey forgot who Casey was and was left with only miltownkid and miltownkid was… a wild dude (at this point in time). In the end, miltownkid ZEE was a Taoist immortal who was living inside the mind of Casey Abbott Payne who, from time to time, took control of Casey Abbott Payne’s meat suit and went on adventures.

It’s strange to talk about these two characters like they weren’t “me”, but the confusion was that they both held competing goals and beliefs that weren’t compatible. Someone had to yield! In the end, as was the plan when I created Casey Abbott Payne, they both have been yielded (they weren’t going to yield themselves!) I thought I yielded them both back in Cycle 10 (2 years ago), but I was wrong. They both got I let them get in one last ride. I sincerely believe that between Cycles 10 and 15 I learned everything I needed to learn to stick to this path of refining myself, my system, and my philosophy without any detours.

Just Flow and…

The highest priority is being consistent with My Flow. I don’t want to add anything else to the Dream+Flow than that. That said, a few other things are floating around my mind.

  • Write a draft of the book “Flowism”
  • Update My Story
  • Make one reflection video a week

I’m dropping them at the bottom because they’re not “essential” to this cycle’s Dream+Flow.

  1. I’ll try and keep up with your posts. That will be one of my goals. Life has been a little choppy for me lately. Searching for the flow.
